小編：教育是關(guān)乎民族未來的戰(zhàn)略工程，教師是文化傳承創(chuàng)新的“光明使者”。而教育傳承的本質(zhì)是愛與追求。教育得以傳承，離不開對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)的熱愛核對(duì)知識(shí)的追求。在傳承教育的道路上，感謝您在前行的路上耕耘不綴。

It is universally acknowledged that education counts ever so much. However, no one has benefited from education as much as my family.

It all started from my father. He was born in 1940 and was lucky enough to receive only six years of formal schooling. At 15, he became a farmer, later worked as a salesman of a small store. Soon enough, he turned accountant. Owing to his integrity and proficiency, he was promoted to be the chief accountant of the town. As time flew by, he never gave up on learning by himself. And eventually, a man of vision and action, he made it as head of the township in charge of agriculture. He left me one saying, “Reading and farming guarantee your riches, both within and without ”. Therefore, he achieved the ambition of rising from a farmer.

With his saying as a safeguard, I made it into a normal college, majoring in English teaching. Driven by his example, I put in doubled efforts with a desperate hope to be an inspired and inspiring teacher and graduated with excellence. And the teaching career in a senior high school taught me one thing: a little learning is a dangerous thing. So I have never passed one day without learning something new. After working 15 years in the northeast, I flew to the southeast to enjoy the refreshing environment. It is the constant learning that has brought me where I am today. I have also come to value the saying, “The stage of life is as large as your heart”. Hence, I have achieved the dream of working on the frontier.

With my saying as a guideline, my daughter worked hard towards her dream school, Nottingham University (Ningbo, China) and hard work paid off finally. She had always longed to travel far and wide, and search high and low. Just as fate would have it, as a sophomore, she came across a UNESCO program to do voluntary research about the girl education of Nepal. This experience rendered her eager for more opportunities to see the world. As a junior, she went to England enjoying the exchange activity. She got enrolled to Manchester University for a master’s degree. Hardly does anyone know what it takes to complete the project of finishing off as a master there in one year only. One year later, she graduated with honor. And now her career is just taking off. Thus she has achieved her ideal of going global.

Without a sound education backed up by a peaceful, prosperous and promising country, my family wouldn’t have gone so far. We owe all of this blessing to the principle: knowledge is power that can help change the fortune.

知識(shí)改變命運(yùn)，沒有誰比我們一家更受益于這一信條。父親童年時(shí)受過基礎(chǔ)教育，因此從農(nóng)民變身為供銷社會(huì)計(jì)，進(jìn)而當(dāng)上鄉(xiāng)總社會(huì)計(jì)，最終當(dāng)上鄉(xiāng)農(nóng)業(yè)書記，完成了農(nóng)民的自身的救贖。父親相信“耕讀傳家”，因此我刻苦學(xué)習(xí)考入大學(xué)。我在縣城一邊教書，一邊不斷地學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)踐，才孔雀東南飛，來到寧波工作，完成了農(nóng)村包圍城市的使命?！靶挠卸啻?，舞臺(tái)就有多大”是我的信條。因此，我家才讓女兒報(bào)考寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)，繼而遠(yuǎn)赴英倫曼徹斯特大學(xué)讀研，以優(yōu)異成績畢業(yè)，現(xiàn)在事業(yè)蒸蒸日上，完成了走向世界的夢(mèng)想。感謝祖國這30年的改革開放與和平發(fā)展，這一切才能夠成為現(xiàn)實(shí)。
