For here or to go?是快餐餐廳店員經(jīng)常用來詢問顧客“這里用還是外帶?”的固定說法。有關(guān)go的其他用法，如:(1) Her fever just won't go.(她的高燒就是不退。)(2)His eyesight is going.(他的視力愈來愈差了。)(3) Those good old days are all gone.(從前那些美好的日子已經(jīng)消逝了。)

2.   It's better for you to wear a pair of glasses when  swimming.(x)
      It's better for you to wear a pair of goggles when swimming.（√）

glasses 指“一般(閱讀)的眼鏡”。goggles指“用來保護(hù)眼睛的泳鏡/防風(fēng)鏡/護(hù)目鏡”等。

3.   She heard a lot of gossips about me.(x)
      She heard a lot of gossip about me. （√）

作“閑話”解時(shí)，gossip是不可數(shù)名詞。作“一段閑話的進(jìn)行”解時(shí)，用a gossip,如:They're having a gossip.(他們正在閑扯。)作“喜歡講別人閑話的人”解時(shí)，gossip是可數(shù)名詞，如:She is an old gossip.(她是一名長舌婦。)

4.   Do we have time to get a bite before the movie?(x)
      Do we have time to grab / have a bite before the movie? （√）

get a bite是指釣魚時(shí)“魚來咬餌”，如:1 sat for hours and never got a bite.(我坐了好幾個(gè)鐘頭，魚兒都不來咬。) grab / have a bite指的是“隨便吃點(diǎn)東西”。

5.   I'll give you three days' delay to pay the rent.(x)
      I'll give you three days' grace to pay the rent.（√）

表“寬限期”應(yīng)該用grace。
