As a Chinese, I take pride in the fast development of my motherland. Five years ago, there were only rice fields around my home, but how about now? You can see a big shopping mall with various advanced facilities. You can see the increasing speed of GDP in the last decade has never got below 7%. You can see our air forces protecting us in the air; you can see Beidou satellites guiding our everyday life; you can see many skyscrapers either in operation or under construction; you can see the Dragon submarine exploring deep under the sea; and you can see the whole country is creating new occupations and making new products at an amazingly high speed. You can see we have better high-speed railways, if not the best, and it’s praised not only at home but also abroad. The passengers comment that they feel it comfortable and convenient to travel this way.

作為一個中國人，我為祖國的快速發(fā)展而自豪。五年前，我家附近只有稻田，現(xiàn)在你可以看到一個大型的購物中心，配備了各種先進的設(shè)施。你可以看到，在過去的十年里，GDP 的增長速度從未低于7%。你可以看到我們的空軍在空中保護我們的領(lǐng)空；你可以看到北斗衛(wèi)星引導(dǎo)我們的日常生活；你可以看到許多摩天大樓拔地而起；你可以看到海底深海探險；你可以看到整個國家正在創(chuàng)造新的職業(yè)，并以驚人的速度生產(chǎn)新產(chǎn)品。你可以看到，我們有更好的高速鐵路，在國外聲名遠揚。
