在華茂國際學(xué)校2015年IBDP學(xué)生畢業(yè)典禮上，師生和家長們匯聚一堂，共同見證這個(gè)令人難忘的時(shí)刻。

16名畢業(yè)生們與國際學(xué)校外方校長Ivan Moore、全體老師共同回顧三年以來的學(xué)習(xí)生涯，對在座的老師和家長們表示了感謝，也表達(dá)了對未來的美好愿望。典禮上，來自大洋彼岸曾經(jīng)任教的老師們和已在海外就學(xué)的學(xué)長學(xué)姐們的視頻祝福。

寄語·老師說

Ivan Moore（外方校長）

All of you have made us proud and we are grateful for the faith you have shown in our school.  Ultimately, it is the hard work that results in high grades. But for those that don’t hit the grade they were hoping for - what should you do?  Learn from the experience and know that many of the most successful people experience failure, but they have grit, a determination to succeed. 

你們每一位都令我們感到驕傲。是你們的辛勤付出換來了佳績。然而對于尚未實(shí)現(xiàn)期望的同學(xué)來說，你們應(yīng)該從此次經(jīng)歷中得到成長，你需要知道，很多成功者務(wù)必經(jīng)歷挫折失敗，重要的是，他們具備勇氣與毅力，以及追逐成功的決心。

You are still at the start of your life journey.  It is exciting.  As we close one chapter, another opens.  I congratulate you again.  The IB DP is not an easy course and you have conquered this mountain.  You are now prepared for the next mountain that you will climb.  Enjoy it and know that the view from the top of the mountain is spectacular and worth the effort.

Maggie Ye （校長助理）

I am proud of Year 12 students for the contribution that they have made to the school as role models for the DP program. Their development over the past three years, evident in the showcases that they presented as well as the creativity, action and service to the school, has extended our younger student experiences.

We will truly miss Year 12 students. Wherever you go and whatever you do, do remember you are IB students to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners. Life is a journey with a collection of different experiences. Keep IB learner profiles in your heart to acquire some different experiences, to develop the different perspectives, to be able to look at things from the different lens. That’s invaluable.

我們會想念你們，無論你們?nèi)ツ睦?，做什么，都要記?。耗銈兪荌B學(xué)子，你們是積極主動、富有激情的終生學(xué)習(xí)者。人的一生會迎來各種不同經(jīng)歷，去收獲不同的觀念，不同的視角，這些都非常寶貴。

Deepali Prashantham（經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)老師兼班主任）

If there is one thing that I would want you to remember from having studied Economics, it is the importance of education – not just for your own development but also for the development of society. Learning is a lifelong process; and life is most meaningful when you share your time, talents and gifts with those that don’t have what you have been gifted with. 

I hope that your University education will extend your path into being a force for positive change in the world. I hope that someday your experiences will transform your ambitions into those that include giving life to others. I hope that someday a needy part of our world will be a better place because of what you have accomplished.

Maggie Jia（化學(xué)老師兼班主任）

Over the coming years you may forget some science facts or calculus formulas you learned here. What you cannot forget is that when individuals work together, the whole group is raised up and the impossible become the possible, and achieving it becomes your destiny.

There is some people never say “I love you” to others, that doesn’t mean they never love anyone. All of you are in my heart, in my brain, I will remember you forever.

Meredith Hooper（課程顧問）

I am so proud of all of you this year. You have truly worked hard and have grown greatly as students and as people. People often struggle with one or both of these aspects on a daily basis. I wish you the best of luck in the upcoming years of your life. Be sure to take a piece of your time here at MEA International with you wherever you go and be the best that you can be.

Tony Zhu（漢語老師）

展現(xiàn)在你們面前的是人生中非常精彩的大學(xué)生活。在此期間，你們不再只是單純地探求知識，你們還應(yīng)該積極參加各種活動和社團(tuán)，找到志同道合的朋友，聆聽社會跳動的脈搏，逐漸開始規(guī)劃自己注定不平凡的一生。

DP三年，彼此都經(jīng)歷了風(fēng)風(fēng)雨雨，見證了各自的成長。在你們即將踏上新的旅程的時(shí)候，希望大家能回頭望望自己走過的路：知識論，與其說是一門課程，不如說是一個(gè)人的基本素質(zhì)培養(yǎng)，它不但教會我們主動探求真理的態(tài)度，養(yǎng)成批判性思考、反思的好習(xí)慣，而且給大家將來的求學(xué)之路構(gòu)建起了完整的知識框架，希望大家能將課堂上所學(xué)到的靈活運(yùn)用到將來的學(xué)習(xí)、生活中去。

在即將奔赴世界各地的時(shí)候，請心里謹(jǐn)記，我是中國人，我要挑起傳播自己國家文化的重?fù)?dān)，因?yàn)橹挥猩钪约簢业莫?dú)特文化，才能被他人所尊重，才能更好地進(jìn)行交流，才能成為一位合格的世界公民！

天下沒有不散的筵席，不過，我期待著你們學(xué)有所成，重回母校的那一刻！

Stephan Stewart（英語老師）

The time has finally come to say “farewell”. Although you may think this graduation signifies the end, in reality, it is really the beginning of your adult life - one full of opportunity and promise. When setting out on your own path of discovery, please remember: your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's dream.

In know it sounds simple, but it takes a lot of courage to drown out others’ opinions and follow your inner voice. If you can, however, you will have stayed true to yourself, followed your own passion, and made your own path. That, in a nutshell, is what life is all about.

感謝IB，讓我們在此相遇，因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)人不僅是他自己，而是他所有遇到的人的混合體，不同的價(jià)值觀念和世界觀會重新把我們整合重塑，而越了解自己，則世界為我們敞開的可能性越大，走向各種人生道路的可能性也越大。大門已然敞開，而你們，正在走進(jìn)去……在過去的一年里，感謝有你們，你們的努力讓我為你們驕傲。我希望高中畢業(yè)是你們各自人生的逗號，你們相約啟程，去追求你們的夢想和生命的活力，去創(chuàng)造屬于自己的生活。

I really hope that the IB education has made you becoming an all rounded person. Academic results are not the gist of an education. Making a sensible and responsible decision, showing principled acts, contributing to the society and caring your neighbors are the eventual outcomes of an education.

I will miss you indeed. Take good care of yourselves wherever you are and enjoy whatever you are doing. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Steven Duncan Murray（物理老師）

Over the last three years, it has been an honor and a privilege to work, play, dream and create with you. I have watched you grow as artists but also much more satisfyingly, I have witnessed your growth as people, each of you developing into strong, resourceful, compassionate and sophisticated human beings. And for that, as well as your graduation, you have my heartfelt congratulations. Thank you for sharing this part of your journey with me, it’s been quite something.
